As some of you may know, I spent a few days in Zanzibar in January ’24, where I had the opportunity to get to know the Maasai closely and I am grateful to be considered a friend.
Some Maasai visit Zanzibar Island during the tourist season to showcase their art and lifestyle, supporting their families back on mainland Tanzania with food, medical supplies, and everything else they need to survive.
My good friend Rafael (Olle), a Maasai himself, approached me and asked if I could take portraits of him and his friends.
We had two wonderful photo sessions!
And I found myself wondering: „What can I do to help them and their families during the off-season and support them in general?“
So, I set up a charity Limited Edition of only #10 pieces of this beautiful portrait of Rafael and his friends.
There will only be 10 physical prints ever made!
Each will be specially developed for you on FineArt Hahnemühle paper and mounted on Aluminium Dibond in a perfect „Art Box wooden frame“. The print comes with the highest possible texture and quality!
The dimensions are 60×40 cm.
